SunCap Property Group, a commercial real estate development, investment and advisory firm based in Charlotte, North Carolina, broke ground on Hillside 290, an industrial facility in Spartanburg’s Hillside Industrial Park, the business announced June 14.
Located on 30 acres on Highway 290, the 284,400-square-foot, rear-load building will offer spaces divisible to 70,000 square feet and will feature:
- 62 dock doors.
- 315 car-park spaces.
- 59 trailer-park spaces.
“Situated less than a mile from I-85 and seven miles from I-26 and the Inland Port in Greer, Hillside 290 is the premier industrial location in the Spartanburg market,” said SunCap Senior Vice President Derek Mathis. “This building will offer unmatched access to the I-85 corridor and the flexibility to accommodate a wide variety of distribution, light manufacturing and automotive-related users.”
SunCap’s portfolio includes Spartanburg Exchange as well as Magna Seating and FedEx Ground’s facility in Spartanburg.
