Qatar’s ambassador for Gaza reconstruction, Mohamed al-Emadi, strongly criticizes Israel following a statement by an IDF spokesperson claiming that Hamas had constructed a tunnel beneath a hospital in Gaza funded by Qatar.
Al-Emadi dismisses the IDF’s assertion, stating it lacks concrete evidence or an independent investigation. He condemns it as a blatant attempt to justify the occupation’s targeting of civilian facilities, including hospitals, schools, and shelters for displaced people, and gatherings of the population.
Both Israel and the US maintain that Hamas operates within or underneath civilian populations, citing evidence to support their claims.
Recently, the IDF released photos and videos allegedly depicting Hamas operatives emerging from a tunnel opening at Sheikh Hamad Hospital.
