I’m on the Growing Greener podcast this week! I’m talking with host Tom Christopher about using native plants in formal or traditional designs, with references to inspiring Texas gardens from my new book, Gardens of Texas, as well as Austin’s own Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. I hope you’ll listen. A big thank-you to Tom for having me on the show!
I’ll be in San Angelo this Saturday

Also, just a reminder that today is the final day to register for the Fall Landscaping Symposium in San Angelo, where I’ll be speaking this Saturday at a day-long educational event. My talk is called “Lawn Gone: 8 Great Ideas for Your Yard,” and it’ll be illustrated with photos from Gardens of Texas — a sneak peek, since the book isn’t out yet! (The book comes out on October 14th.) After the talk, I’ll be selling signed copies of my other books, Lawn Gone! and The Water-Saving Garden.
