This episode of FBI is certainly my favourite of the season so far. It was so action packed but it also had those slower moments which made it such a good episode to watch.
As always with an FBI episode we started with something shocking. I have to say I am quite sad that the reporter died, I know we probably only saw about three minutes of her and Quinn interacting, but I really liked both of their characters. When Holly got shot, my first question was is she the target? Turns out she was.
The chase scene when they found the woman impersonating a cop had such high intensity, but it had an ending I absolutely did not expect, and I don’t think anyone could have predicted it. I wasn’t even sure what had happened until Jubal explained that the airbag had been rigged.
The story was so detailed and in depth throughout, even having that film spool hidden in the underpass by Quinn just before he was kidnapped. I loved how well each scene filtered into the next, everything was so smooth.
The double cross with Lisha Jiao was definitely my favourite part of the episode, it’s always great to see the agents use their skills in an unconventional way to solve a case.
I have to say I was not a huge fan of the ending of this episode, but that’s only because I hated seeing OA so hurt. I never liked Gemma much but now she is definitely a character I am glad we never have to see again.
I do like when we get to see the personal sides of the agents, so I am hoping that we get to see OA talk this through with Maggie in the next episode. I also hope that at some point we get to see OA move on from Gemma and be in a happier and healthier relationship.
