Still no freeze, so ‘Country Girl’ mum keeps blooming

Before Christmas, I asked for your help to reach my goal of 25 reviews on Amazon for my new book Gardens of Texas before the end of the year. And readers, you really came through! The book received more than 30 reviews by New Year’s Eve, and as of today, Gardens of Texas has 36 ratings or reviews. Thank you so much!

Reviews help tremendously in getting books to show up in online searches. So if you got a copy of Gardens of Texas for Christmas — and I really hope Santa was good to you — please consider sharing a quick review at this link. You need not have purchased from Amazon to leave a review, and each one is helpful to other readers. I know I always look at reviews before making a book purchase online. Thanks, y’all!

Gardens of Texas webinar on Feb. 4

Want to attend one of my Gardens of Texas presentations but live too far away, or the timing hasn’t been right? If so, this is for you: I’ve been invited to give a webinar presentation on February 4 at 6:30 pm PST (8:30 pm CST) by the Northwest Horticultural Society, based in the Pacific Northwest. Yes, they’re curious about Texas gardens! I can’t wait to share photos and stories about all the cool gardening going on in our hot climate.

Register for the webinar at this link, and you too can watch online in your pajamas from the comfort of home.

My book tour continues in person too

I’ve got more in-person events lined up this spring, and I invite you to attend. My book tour continues with presentations and book sale/signings in Houston, San Antonio, Temple, and Cedar Park, with more events in the works. Check back regularly on my event page to see if I’m coming to a city near you. I’d love to meet you!
