Montréal’s Parc Jean-Drapeau has long proven itself a natural home for dance music, and Osheaga‘s 2026 edition is making sure that tradition holds. The festival has unveiled its complete lineup for its 19th edition, running July 31 to August 2, and while pop headlines the marquee, the electronic undercurrent runs deep.
Back on tour for the first time since 2019, Major Lazer tops the dance bill, turning heads for the 2015 ravers chasing that sweet festival nostalgia. The group is fresh off headlining slots at this year’s Coachella and Ultra Music Festival, returning to Osheaga for the first time in nine years.
Joining them is one of the bill’s most exciting additions: Australian visionaries Empire of the Sun, making their long-awaited Osheaga and Montréal debut. SUBTRONICS also appears on the lineup, bringing his signature riddim intensity to the self-proclaimed Bass Capital of North America. And for the techno faithful, Amelie Lens, KETTAMA, HorsegiirL, VTSS, and Brutalismus 3000 round out an undercard that quietly makes this one of the stronger electronic lineups the festival has assembled in years.
The festival’s three headliners, Twenty One Pilots on Friday, Tate McRae on Saturday, and Lorde closing out Sunday, each carry their own electronic DNA. Lorde in particular, whose catalog straddles alt-pop and electropop with surgical precision, arrives fresh off major 2026 festival dates including The Governors Ball and Madrid’s Mad Cool. The xx’s long-awaited return adds another dimension to the weekend’s more atmospheric, electronic-leaning moments.
With 87 artists across multiple stages and 26 Canadian acts on the bill, Osheaga continues to balance global firepower with homegrown pride.
Full weekend passes are available on Osheaga’s official website.
