I’ve been chatting about my new book, Gardens of Texas, on the airwaves, sharing stories of resilient gardens and the people creating them across the Lone Star State. If you’d like to listen, check out these two recent audio interviews:

November Events

Nov. 8 – Open Day Garden Tour in Austin. From 10 am to 1 pm, I’ll be manning a book-signing table at the Belmont Parkway Garden (ticket required). Stop by to say hi and see my brand-new book, Gardens of Texas — and maybe check a few people off your Christmas list! For full tour information and tickets from The Garden Conservancy, click here

Nov. 9 – Community Gardens Fall Home & Garden Show in Bastrop, 1-2 pm. Talk & book signing in the greenhouse. Free!

Nov. 15 – Redenta’s Garden Shop in Dallas, 1-2 pm. This meet-and-greet event will include a short presentation (no slide show), followed by a book signing. Free!

Nov. 16 – North Haven Gardens in Dallas, 2-4 pm. Talk & book signing in the indoor classroom. Free!

Nov. 17 – Wichita River Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas in Wichita Falls, 5:30-7:30 pm. Reception with hors d’oeuvres and wine at 5:30 pm, followed by a talk & book signing. Tickets must be purchased in advance: $25.

Nov. 18 – Grapevine Garden Club in Grapevine, 10:00-11:30 am. Talk & book signing. Free and open to the public!

Nov. 22 – Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin, 1-3 pm. Talk & book signing in the auditorium. Free with admission to the garden.
